Special Note to IJM Twitter Followers

Dear IJM Supporters on Twitter,

A few months ago, International Justice Mission participated in USA Today’s “America Wants” twitter contest. With your help, we placed 6th out of nearly 500 organizations that competed. Our success in that campaign was a testament to the passion and tenacity of IJM’s twitter followers—thank you!

This summer, we’re asking for your help again with an even more important campaign — one that we hope will make millions of people aware of the crisis of modern-day slavery.

STOP INJUSTICE: 5 Weeks for Freedom is a major awareness and advocacy campaign from June 28 to July 31. Fifteen ordinary people are sacrificing five weeks of their lives to cycle 1800 miles of the historic Underground Railroad to support the work of IJM on behalf of victims of modern-day slavery, sex trafficking and other forms of violent oppression. The campaign will feature large outreach events in major cities, fundraising efforts, and fun ways to participate online.

Will you help us build momentum and spread the word through Twitter (and Facebook!) from now until July 31?

Consider using one of the provided tweets below or customize your own message. If you are a blogger, visit our online tools section for graphics, web banners and other resources to use on your web site. I also invite you to explore this site for more details on the campaign.
