More about the IJM Model
We are committed to using your investment effectively to further the mission – and the thousands of lives rescued already testify to the impact you can make.
IJM’s staff work on the frontlines in 13 countries around the world to bring rescue to individual victims and to transform their communities so that vulnerable people are protected from violence. Our investigators, lawyers, and aftercare teams work holistically -taking cases from the initial investigation, to the prosecution of perpetrators in local courts, all the way to securing long-term care so that former victims can thrive in freedom. And they use what they learn in each case to develop solutions for the injustices that impact entire communities – working alongside local authorities to ensure that poor people are protected from violent injustice by police, courts and laws.
