I’m riding for kids like Viswanathan. He spent his childhood in a rock quarry because his parents were enslaved there – just 2 of the estimated 27 million men, women and children trapped in slavery today. Viswanathan and the rest of his family are free now – because modern-day abolitionists like you and me sent International Justice Mission to conduct an operation with local authorities to free the people at the quarry. Now Viswanathan is free, going to school, and says he wants to be a police officer someday. There are other kids who deserve that kind of chance, so I’m giving Five Weeks for Freedom.
