Margie Gordner

Camp Hill, PA

I’m riding for women like Margaret. After her husband died, a powerful male relative chased her and her daughters out of their home – - destroying the building and selling off the roof and bricks for his own profit, and leaving Margaret homeless and destitute.  Today, Margaret is back on her land, and raising her daughters in security.  But nearly 30% of widows in Uganda are victimized by property grabbing like she was.  For these vulnerable women – denied the basic freedom of living at peace in their own home, I’m giving Five Weeks for Freedom.
