IJM CLIENT :: Duncan

I’m riding for fathers like Duncan.  He was thrown in prison after being baselessly accused of stealing a car from the Nairobi housing complex where he worked.  According to the  New York Times, up to 20 percent of Kenya’s prisoners might be declared innocent with proper legal representation. But Duncan couldn’t afford any representation, and faced seven years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit He’s free today and back with his family because an IJM attorney was able to represent him in court.  But there are so many more who need a voice  - someone to stand for them – so I’m giving Five Weeks for Freedom.
