IJM CLIENT :: Gopal

I’m riding for families like Gopal’s.  Gopal and his wife raised three young children at the rock quarry where they were enslaved for 15 years.  This family represents just a few of the 15 million people experts have estimated are trapped in forced labor in India.  The family is now free because of an IJM rescue operation conducted in partnership  with local authorities.  When IJM’s staff visited the family recently, Gopal looked them in the eye and said, “Step by step, I will help my family.”  There are other fathers out there just desperate for a chance to do that for their kids, and that’s why I’m giving Five Weeks for Freedom.
