IJM CLIENT :: Alisha

I’m riding for girls like Alisha,* who was trafficked into forced prostitution at age 12.  According to a recent study, as many as 85% of trafficking victims in India are minors like her.  Alisha  was brought from brothel to brothel before being rescued five years later by local authorities in an operation in collaboration with IJM. . After healing in an aftercare home in India for the past year, she’s now moving to an aftercare home closer to her native village – and she can’t wait to see her family.  But there are other trafficked girls who need to be reunited with their parents, and that’s why I’m giving Five Weeks for Freedom.
