Today, we’re excited to officially kickoff the 5 Weeks For Freedom Blog Tour. One of the goals for this campaign is to raise as much awareness as we can about issues of modern-day slavery, trafficking and other forms of injustice. To help us do that, we have invited a variety of bloggers, influencers and modern-day abolitionists to join us in this movement, lend their voice and talk about their thoughts regarding these important issues. The blog tour will last from now until the end of the tour and will feature 2-3 sites per week.

To help us kick off the blog tour is a good friend of IJM, Dan Portnoy (@danportnoy, @portnoymedia). Dan is the founder of Portnoy Media Group, a specialized media-creation firm located in Pasadena, CA that focuses on advancing mediums of connectivity for consumers, businesses and non-profit organizations. He is also the founder of The Drop, an online community of musicians and music appreciators engaging in ways the industry can use its craft and influence “to make the world a better place.”
